My Story

Welcome to Beautiful Minds Therapy & Consulting, LLC., a space thoughtfully created to support adults navigating OCD, anxiety, and life’s challenges through virtual telehealth. Despite how common OCD is, it remains deeply misunderstood and often misrepresented—leading many to feel isolated or ashamed. At Beautiful Minds, I am committed to breaking that stigma and filling the gap in effective, compassionate care. Specializing in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and other evidence-based treatments, I provide structured support that’s also infused with warmth, empathy, and just the right dose of humor. Services are offered via secure telehealth to residents of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska, making therapy accessible, flexible, and tailored to your needs. This is more than just therapy, it’s a space to reclaim your story, your voice, and your peace of mind.

At this time, services are only available via telehealth.

About Me

Hi there! I’m Brianne, therapist, true crime enthusiast, and someone who still wonders why I live in a state where the air hurts my face 9 months out of the year. (Seriously, Wisconsin winters are no joke.)

For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping people untangle the confusion of anxiety and OCD. I have worked in specialized programs at one of the nation’s leading behavioral health hospitals to online therapy platforms, and what I’ve learned is this: therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation. I’ll bring evidence-based tools like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), but also a sense of humor, warmth, and honesty. Sometimes we’ll celebrate small victories, sometimes we’ll laugh at the brain’s quirks, and sometimes we’ll sit in the hard stuff together.

Outside of sessions, I soak up every bit of sunshine I can get, spend time near the water, and question why I live here every winter. At home, I’m kept on my toes by my two “assistants”: Dozer, my loyal dog, and George, my mischievous cat who runs the household. When I’m not with them, you might find me testing new recipes (some hits, some misses), exploring local food spots, or rewatching 90's comedy movies. And yes — I’ll admit to a fascination with true crime, not because it’s relaxing, but because human behavior is endlessly complex and intriguing.

I love weaving these everyday pieces of life into therapy, because healing isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about creating a life that feels more like yours. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s approachable, down-to-earth, and not afraid to sprinkle in humor along the way, I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.

My Education & Experience

I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus on Direct Practice from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a minor in Human Services from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.

With nearly 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers for OCD, outpatient clinics, substance use programs, and private practice. These experiences have shaped my approach to therapy, grounded in both clinical expertise and genuine human connection.

I have received specialized professional training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This training has equipped me to help clients face their fears, reduce compulsive behaviors, and build a life driven by values rather than anxiety. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) techniques to support clients with OCD and/or anxiety.

Over the years, I noticed a consistent pattern. The people supporting someone with OCD often feel lost, overwhelmed, or unsure how to help. That’s why I began offering dedicated sessions for support people—so they can get the guidance, clarity, and tools they need, too.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) located in Wisconsin, offering secure virtual therapy for adults across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska. My practice combines structured, evidence-based treatment with warmth, empathy, and personality. Healing is serious work, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time.

In addition to my clinical background, I bring leadership and human experience, which has helped me build a therapy practice rooted in accessibility, integrity, and meaningful connection.
