Hi, I’m Brianne. I’m really glad you’re here.

If you found your way to this page, there’s a good chance anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or OCD have been taking up way too much space in your life lately.

Maybe you overthink every last detail of a situation or conversation.
Maybe your brain gets stuck on “what ifs” and tells you that you have to check, just to be safe.
Maybe you’re constantly trying to reassure yourself, but the relief never really lasts.

That’s because your brain has learned that doing compulsions is the fastest way to get a little relief from anxiety.

Checking, replaying, Googling, asking for reassurance. All of it brings short-term relief, so your brain keeps going back to it.

Over time, it starts to feel like you have to do them just to get through the day. And that’s exhausting. But it’s also something we can work on together.

A lot of people I’ve worked with over the years tell me things like,
“I know this doesn’t totally make sense… but it still feels so real,”
or, “What if this is the time I should have checked?”

When your brain is constantly focused on worst-case scenarios, uncertainty can feel overwhelming, and progress can feel out of reach.

If that resonates, nothing is wrong with you. You’re dealing with a nervous system that’s learned to stay on high alert every second of every day. And while that’s exhausting, it’s also something we can work on together.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I provide online therapy for adults in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Nebraska who are struggling with OCD, panic, and chronic anxiety.

I work with concerns like intrusive thoughts, compulsions and reassurance-seeking, panic attacks, social anxiety, agoraphobia, and mental loops that just won’t shut off.

In our work together, we use evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), ACT, and CBT. That means we don’t just talk about anxiety. We focus on identifying patterns and changing how you respond so it stops running your life.

My approach is practical, supportive, and very outcome-focused. I’m not here just to help you cope. I’m here to help you learn how to live well, even when anxiety shows up.

I’ll listen closely, take you seriously, and work with you to gently challenge the habits and patterns that keep anxiety in control.

Beautiful Minds Therapy & Consulting exists because I wanted to create a space where people don’t feel like they have to perform, explain themselves over and over, or “prove” that things are bad enough to deserve help.

What makes my work a little different is that I don’t do therapy on autopilot. I pay close attention to what’s helping, what’s not, and where anxiety is still quietly in charge. We adjust as we go. We track progress. We talk honestly about what’s working and what isn’t.

I specialize in OCD and anxiety, which means you’re not getting a one-size-fits-all approach. You’re getting treatment designed for how these conditions actually work.

My goal isn’t to make you dependent on therapy. It’s to help you trust yourself again. You get to move at a pace that’s challenging, but realistic.

All sessions are offered virtually, so therapy can fit into your life instead of becoming another stressor.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, you don’t have to sort this out on your own. I’m here, and I’d be glad to help.

Do you wonder why your brain latches onto the very thoughts you don’t want?

Do you wonder why your brain latches onto the very thoughts you don’t want?

Intrusive thoughts are a common part of OCD and anxiety. They are unwanted, often distressing, and not a reflection of who you are or what you value.

At Beautiful Minds Therapy & Consulting, I provide specialized, gold-standard treatment for OCD and anxiety using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Rather than trying to eliminate thoughts or sensations, we focus on gently retraining how your brain responds to anxiety, panic, and uncertainty.

The goal isn’t to control your thoughts. It’s to loosen the grip of obsessive worries and compulsions so you can spend more time living the life you care about.
